
The mission of the Henryetta Fire Department is to protect life, property, and the environment through prompt emergency response, fire suppression, rescue services, emergency medical care, and disaster preparedness. We are committed to serving the Henryetta community with professionalism, integrity, and compassion while maintaining the highest standards of training, safety, and public service. Through teamwork, dedication, and community engagement, we strive to enhance the safety and quality of life for all those we serve.

Coverage Area
The Henryetta Fire Department provides fire protection and emergency services to the 6.2 square miles of incorporated city limits, as well as a designated fire district covering a significant portion of southern Okmulgee County.
The department maintains mutual aid agreements with all volunteer fire departments in southern Okmulgee County, ensuring a coordinated and effective regional response to emergencies.

The department operates on a three-shift schedule: A Shift, B Shift, and C Shift.

Emergency Response
Henryetta Fire Department currently holds a Class 3 Insurance Services Office (ISO) Public Protection Classification (PPC) rating. This rating plays an important role in determining fire insurance premiums for property owners and reflects the department’s commitment to training, equipment, staffing, and overall emergency preparedness.

Emergency Medical Technician
Started three days after 18th birthday in 2005 with the Dewar Fire Department.
In the summer of 2007 became a volunteer for the Henryetta Fire Department.
In January of 2008 became a career firefighter at Henryetta. Worked through the ranks of volunteer, career firefighter, Lieutenant, Captain and now Chief.
