The Henryetta Police Department proudly welcomes Officer Buddy Townes as its newest addition.

Townes is an Advanced CLEET-certified peace officer with more than a decade of law enforcement experience. He began his career in 2009 and has since served with multiple agencies, including the Henryetta Police Department, Mannford Police Department, Creek County Sheriff’s Office, Pawnee Police Department, and the Pawnee County Sheriff’s Office.

Townes was a former K9 handler assigned to a certified drug detection team, Townes brings valuable experience in narcotics enforcement and proactive policing. He has accumulated more than 1,400 hours of continuing law enforcement training, including coursework in mental health response, missing person’s investigations, and sexual assault investigations.

Officer Townes returns to Henryetta with a strong background in patrol operations and community-focused policing. The department looks forward to the experience, professionalism, and dedication he brings in serving and protecting the citizens of Henryetta.
